Working with children requires a unique set of skills and patience. At Mustard, our team is highly experienced in working with children of all ages and abilities and we understand how to make them feel comfortable while producing the best onscreen performance.
We immerse ourselves in the culture, the inspiration, and the history of your school or college to hone our understanding of what your campaign needs to say, and how it will appeal to new potential enrolment opportunities.
From this foundation we will have a clear insight into what kind of advertising campaign we can create and how best that story will drive enrolment awareness and student and parent engagement.
TELLING THE STORY
We want to create an engaging student story that your potential enrolments can associate with. A piece of content they can aspire to re-create at your school or college. We do this by listening to every detail the student or teacher has before filming, asking questions and taking notes during the interviews so we can film appropriate footage to add to the final story.

An educational video is one of the best ways to increase exposure for your school or college and target the right audience.
We can help you reach a local or international audience and show them why your school is unique. Video also enables students and parents to make an informed decision as to whether your educational institute is the right choice for them. We create fast turnaround lecture and talk recordings, and promos to help market your institution. Whatever your requirements, we can make them work.
All Mustard Education team members are vetted and DBS checked before working with children.
We have access to a large online library of over 2000 professionally produced royalty free instrumental and vocal music tracks covering a vast range of genres and moods insuring that whatever the content, we can find the right music track to elevate it.
Licensed music can also be used but will need to be cleared unless it is your own original music.
Video sites such as Youtube will check for rights violations and in some cases can block the video.
At Mustard Education Group we have an extensive range of high resolution stills cameras and GoPros, which we will use to capture timelapses and hyper lapse photography of your event.
We would rig our time-lapse cameras in areas of activity and capture interesting moments, such as establishing shots of a venue and people arriving through the main entrance.
We will capture short interviews with Students, Teachers and Parents to explore how they feel about their experience at your school or college.
Topics such as what their favourite lesson are, how much they enjoyed it and what they took away from the lessons are often great questions to get us started.
We use a boom mic rather than a visible lapel mic too, making the interviews feel more real and natural.
B -roll are all the shots that help build the story. We shoot all of our B-Roll footage in beautiful cinematic slow motion, and capture footage of students having fun, laughing with each other, and thoroughly enjoying their school day.
To further enhance these shots, we will also attach our camera to our DJI Ronin gimbal, allowing us to get incredibly smooth and dynamic walk-through shots of your facilities.
When possible we record audio directly into the camera using our extensive range of boom microphones.
These mics are always hidden to give each production a more professional look.
